Data Deletion Instructions

Users of Sandeshly can request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time. End-users who messaged a Page or Instagram Business Account that uses Sandeshly can also request deletion of their conversation data — see the section below.
Tenants: how to request deletion of your account
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request". Please include the email address used for your Sandeshly account and, if available, your business or workspace name.
Signed-in users may also contact us from the support page and choose "Billing or account" as the category.
End-users: deleting your Messenger or Instagram conversation
If you sent a Messenger or Instagram Direct message to a business that uses Sandeshly and want your conversation data deleted, please first contact the Facebook Page or Instagram Business Account you messaged — they operate the inbox and can remove the conversation directly.
If you cannot resolve your request with the Page operator, email us at [email protected] with: the name or URL of the Page / Instagram account you messaged, your Messenger or Instagram handle (so we can locate the conversation), and a brief description of the data you want deleted. We will identify the affected records, delete them from our systems, and confirm in writing.
You can also revoke the connection between Sandeshly and a Page or Instagram account at any time from your Meta Business Settings → Business Integrations → Sandeshly → Remove. After revocation we stop receiving new messages on that account, and existing conversation data is deleted on request as described above.
What data is deleted
- Your tenant account profile, including business name, user name, email address, and password hash.
- WhatsApp Cloud API configuration stored for your workspace, including encrypted access tokens.
- Uploaded contacts, tags, opt-in status, imported CSV metadata, campaigns, templates, and message records controlled by your workspace.
- Support correspondence linked to the deletion request, once it is no longer needed to complete the request.
What may be retained
We may retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or accounting. These retained records are kept only for the period required for those purposes and are not used for marketing.
How long deletion takes
We acknowledge deletion requests within 7 days and complete eligible personal data deletion within 30 days after verifying the request. If a legal obligation requires longer retention for specific records, we will explain that in our response.
